PAUL LEE
Paul is an American comedian living in South Africa. He hails from Austin, Texas (can he get a yeehaa!?), but has called Cape Town his home since 2015 - and has been confused ever since.
His humour is largely observational. He is, after all, a foreigner living in a country where things are done very differently (and sometimes oddly so). His 'fish-out-of-water' view on South African culture is both hilarious and refreshing.
Paul is committed to bringing back clean comedy, making his material accessible to young and old. That's right - you won't need to apologize to your granny after watching his future Netflix special with her.
Not only is Paul in the funny business, but he is also an accomplished musician and recording artist. He and his wife, Jennifer, form an acoustic chill duo called Table 13, with their repertoire consisting of laid-back covers of Nirvana, Radiohead and Amy Winehouse songs, to name just a few. They perform at weddings, birthdays, bars and outdoor markets.
Paul is also a church boy. Yes, he and his wife attend a local Christian church in the greater Durbanville area, where they also lead worship.
